Seiko Captain Willard 6105-8110

Description

Seiko Diver "Captain Willard" 6105-8110

Seiko Diver “Captain Willard”, ref. 6105-8110. One of Seiko's most iconic vintage dive watches, produced in the early 1970s, known for its striking asymmetric case and robust construction. The model became famous after being worn by Martin Sheen in the film Apocalypse Now (1979), where the character Captain Willard turned the watch into a symbol of adventure and survival. The watch measures 44 mm and is made of steel with Seiko's characteristic cushion case design, which protects the crown positioned at 4 o'clock. The black dial with clear markings and rotating bezel gives an authentic tool‑watch look, typical of Seiko's professional dive watches of the period. Inside it houses the Seiko Calibre 6105B – an automatic movement with a hack function. A sought‑after and historically important watch for both Seiko collectors and vintage dive‑watch enthusiasts. Sold without accessories.
