From a design standpoint, it’s easy to appreciate the asymmetrical case but also the interesting crown construction that locks the push-pull crown in by using a small post and grooves. The matte black dial features minimal text, with the Seiko logo and “Automatic” at 12 o’clock, complemented by applied markers. This particular variant dubbed the “Resist,” adheres to updated ISO guidelines with modified text on the dial and case back. Today we’re offering a beautiful and unused JDM RESIST/RESIST example that comes with its original instructions manual and box. The “Uemura” is one of the most celebrated vintage tool watches out there today, not only because it played a role in Uemura’s Alaska journey, but it was also popular with divers of the time. _____________________________ Condition report This Uemura s in exceptional condition. The case retains all its original factory lines, free of any scratches. Both the dial and hands are immaculate, with only slight darkening at the edges of the hour and minute hands, which is typical due to the natural aging of the original lume. The caseback still has its original protective film intact, with no visible scratches. The crystal is flawless, showing no visible scratches. A subtle hue can be seen on the inner surface of the glass, an expected characteristic as the watch has never been opened. The original Seiko XGL731 straps are in excellent condition with no signs of wear, making them ready for immediate use. This watch comes complete with its original straps, instruction manual, and box. _____________________________ Specifications BRAND: Seiko MODEL: Diver watch "Uemura" or "Willard" REFERENCE: 6105-8110 DIAL: Original black dial CASE MATERIAL: Stainless Steel CASE DIMENSIONS: 44.0 x 48.0 mm, 13.0mm thickness, 19mm Lug Width.
