The present timepiece has a 41-mm-wide Grade 5 titanium satin-finished case that is both lightweight and durable. The bezel transitions from round to a polished six-sided profile—highlighting Gauthier’s engineering and design skills. The integrated titanium bracelet connects via curved lugs and blends satin and polished surfaces. Its articulated links provide excellent comfort, and the full titanium construction keeps the watch light at just 85 grams. A newly introduced salmon dial, UV-protected, adds a warm tone. Off-centred hands, varied hour marker lengths, and a small seconds subdial at 7 o’clock create an intentional asymmetry. Numerals and indices are made from solid Super-LumiNova, adding a bold modern touch. The watch is powered by a hand-wound, in-house movement inspired by traditional Vallée de Joux “finger” bridges, updated with a contemporary layout and fine finishing. It offers a 60-hour power reserve and hacking seconds for added precision. Drawing inspiration from the soft pink tones of winter mornings in the Vallée de Joux, the Continuum “C” blends technical innovation with refined, modern aesthetics.
