ROLEX Men's wristwatch. Square case with rounded corners in yellow gold (750). Thick cambered plexiglass. Signed satin-finish cream dial with gold-painted hour markers, Arabic numerals and dashes for the hours and black dashes for the minutes. Second hand at 6 o'clock. Hand-wound mechanical movement, signed and numbered E11070. Elasticated gold-plated metal bracelet with chased chevron motif. Clipped caseback, signed and numbered 59822 and 3996 inside. Circa 1940. Swiss hallmarks. Gross weight: 44.9 g. Case size: 26 x 26 mm. - Wrist circumference: approx. 18 cm. Minor wear scratches on the case, small stains and oxidation pitting on the dial, oxidation on the hands, wear to the gilding on the crown, later bracelet.
