Apart from the pre-series that mounted special dials, the first one marketed was the MK1. Characteristics Mk 1 : – Meters First – Over White – 6 Closed – F curved above the T – Graced font – Serial 2.07 – about 2.2 million, year 1969 Mk1 , one of the rarest dials after pre-series, let’s learn about it. From Mk1 onward, all dials feature the minute track and the inscription Swiss -T<25. To recognize an MK1 dial at first glance, we need to look at the depth “ft” inscription expressed in feet. In fact, this is the only one of the 3 MARK “Meter First” dials (1-2-3) in which the “f” in “ft” rises above the letter “t.” It also turns out to be the only one of the three to have the “6 closed” and the red “Submariner” lettering that covers virtually the entire length of the line indicating depth and is executed over a white base. Finally, note the very graceful font. This watch is one of the rarest and most complete available on the market. The serial 2182xxx is consistent with this dial type, the watch did not yet mount the very well known, for this reference ,folded bracelet with fip-lock named 9315 with finials 280 or 380, but the riveted link bracelet 7206 finials 80 , as seen from the booklets of the time. The original glass named double step, the never polished case, the perfect mk1 dial, the silver date window, the long 5 insert, the 7206 finial 80 bracelet ,clasp 3 69 ,its complete kit from the Astrua dealer in Turin consisting of original box with sticker, 67.80 trapezoidal box, Cosc and perforated warranty make this watch the most important and complete watch one could wish for.
