Rolex Ref 1680 Submariner Date, Circa 1979, completely authentic and unpolished

Rolex 1680 Submariner. This was the first submariner model with a complication: a date window with the Cyclops magnifying glass. This model still has the feel of a vintage submariner with the matte dial and relatively slim case. The old fashioned acrylic glass adds height to this model. This offering is watch only. However, the condition of the dial (100%) the unpolished case, and perfect original bezel (which has sun faded gently) make this one a really prime example of the iconic watch.
