Description

Rolex Submariner Date "Red Line"

Rolex Submariner ‘Red Line' The Rolex Submariner 'Red line' 1680 reference is about as iconic as it gets. Highly sought-after, 'Red line' Submariners can be extremely hard to find and are rising in price at a fast rate. This particular example is a 'feet first' 39 serial 'mark VI' dial with the red lettering printed directly on the dial as opposed to over white text. Historic and rare in equal measures, this Submariner is a fantastic investment piece. The dial fitted is an original ‘Singer’ dial. The original dial and hands also come with the watch. Condition: The watch is generally in good condition. It has had a polish in its lifetime but the case is still thick and lugs full. The era-correct bezel is missing the pearl but has started to take on a beautiful blue hue. The serial and reference are still nice and visible. The clasp and bracelet are in vintage condition in line with the watch's age. The original dial that comes with the watch but not currently fitted has aged beautifully, the tritium markers and hands have now taken on a lovely 'burnt orange' patina. What it comes with: It comes as watch only but is accompanied by our own certificate of authenticity and one year warranty. The watch also comes with the original dial and hands.
