Das Gehäuse ist im sehr guten Zustand. Es wurde im Jahre 2022 im Zuge eines Rolex Services aufgearbeitet und seitdem nur mehr sehr selten getragen. Die Hörner sind schön voll mit guten Kanten und einem schönen matten Finish auf der Gehäuseoberseite. Es handelt sich hier übrigens um eine 168000. Mit der 168000 hat Rolex erstmals 904L Stahl verwandt. Dies erfolgte während der Produktion der 16800 und um die neue Stahlvariante erkenntlich zu machen, hat man für diese Uhren die Referenz 168000 vergeben. Das Submariner Date Zifferblatt ist, neben dem Lieferumfang, eines der Highlights der Uhr. Wie die Bilder wunderbar zeigen, hat die Tritium Leuchtmasse im Laufe der Jahrzehnte eine tolle kräftig cremige Patina angenommen. Ferner ist das Zifferblatt im perfekten Zustand ohne Schwächen. Die Zeiger sind ebenso top, mit stimmiger, je nach Lichteinfall minimal hellerer Patina zum Blatt. Das Saphirglas ist perfekt und die originale Lünetten Einlage mit Tritium Perle hat ordentlich Tragespuren, verleiht der Uhr dadurch aber einen wirklich coolen Vintage Charakter. Die Uhr kommt als wunderbares full set aus Indonesien. Sie wurde am 1.03.1988 von The Rolex Indonesia Service N.V. Suisse (LC 430) verkauft. Ist euch übrigens aufgefallen, dass die Papiere mit 16800 und nicht mit 168000 bedruckt sind? Das ist korrekt. Eine 168000 erkennt man nur an der Gehäusegravur. Die Papiere blieben immer mit 16800 versehen. Das 93150 Oysterband ist wie die Uhr im feinen Vintage Zustand. Das Band zeigt etwas Stretch, trägt sich aber perfekt und mit Schließencode H für 1984 handelt es sich mit Sicherheit um das Originalband zur Uhr.
