Rolex Submariner, ref. 1680 Red Sub from around 1973 – 340xxxx series. One of the more sought-after Rolex vintage watches. The Red Sub is a classic among collectors and will enhance any vintage collection. The watch still features nice lugs and symmetrical crown guards. The dial is a period-correct Mark IV dial with a slight creamy patina. The tritium hands also show a slight creamy patina. There is a slight patina on the edge of the dial between 11 and 12 o'clock. The watch is mounted on a folded Oyster bracelet ref. 9315 with endlinks 380. The clasp is stamped with code D from 1979. A classic and attractive Red Sub example with strong vintage appeal. Comes without any other accessories.
