The watch is fitted with a 4.7M serial case. At some point, it underwent service at a Rolex Authorised Dealer, during which the caseback (stamped 5512, a well-known and common Rolex service replacement), crown, bezel and hands were replaced. While these service components slightly impact overall originality, they enhance the watch’s usability and structural integrity. The case remains in excellent condition, retaining strong proportions with thick lugs, well-defined crown guards, and sharp, even case lines throughout. The watch is fitted with a 93150 bracelet with 580 end links and an E08 clasp. The dial is in outstanding condition, showing a beautiful contrast between the matte black surface and warm vanilla lume plots. The later service hands integrate well visually, and their functional lume adds to everyday usability. The date wheel appears original, displaying light patina and the correct open 6, consistent with the production period. The watch runs perfectly and winds smoothly. A vintage Rolex box is included.
