This particular Submariner was fit with a factory blue dial and matching blue bezel insert; the original blue dial has aged to a striking purple, due to a defect in the lacquer used by Rolex during this era. The condition of this special Rolex Submariner is lovely. The case has been previously polished, but retains thick and even lugs, with original bevels still visible. The dial shows no damage or wear and has aged to a lovely purple color throughout. Additionally, the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a lovely cream color. Finally, the watch comes on its original Swiss Oyster gold bracelet; the bracelet has 11 full links with some stretch/wear from use. Please Note: the caseback and buckle have matching “WW” engravings of a prior owner, hopefully being Walter White.
