In celebration of the Submariner’s 50th anniversary in 2003, Rolex introduced the reference 16610LV fitted with a striking green bezel aptly nicknamed by collectors as “The Kermit” reminiscent of the beloved Muppet character “Kermit the Frog”. A departure from the traditional black bezel, the green model became a global phenomenon and highly collectible since it was first offered in the marketplace. The present “Z” series Submariner from 2006 is offered in virtually new, unworn condition and retains its factory plastic wrap and case back sticker.
