Rolex released the first Submariner with a green aluminium insert in 2003, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the legendary diver's watch. However, this timepiece was discontinued when Rolex transitioned the Submariner into the ceramic era. The updated green Submariner was launched in 2010, this time showing a fully green dial, matching with the Cerachrom bezel.
The present example has been retained in attractive condition and is therefore a great opportunity to acquire a piece that just recently got discontinued, having been replaced in September 2020 by the new Submariner which went back to the original design with green bezel only. The present lot is further offered as a complete set with guarantee and presentation case with outer packaging.
