The Sea-Dweller debuted back in the 1960s and, for many decades, was only ever made in steel. The robust material makes sense for the deep saturation diver, which was initially meant to explore the ocean's darkest depths. Nowadays, tool watches are just as much everyday statement pieces as they are ready-for-everything tool watches, so adding a Yellow Rolesor model to the mix makes a lot of sense in today's market. Ref. 126603 is just that, the very first two-tone Sea-Dweller, furnished here in Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold. On paper, it's similar to the all-steel version. It has a 4,000-foot depth rating, supported by a Triplock screw-down crown and a Helium Escape valve. It also features a unidirectional diver's bezel with a luminescent pip at 12 and luminescent hour markers and hands. Here, the bezel, crown, and center links are furnished in lustrous yellow gold.
