金張りのイエローゴールドケースに味のあるアイボリーダイヤルがクラシカルな自動巻腕時計。
1959年頃の個体で、立体的なバーインデックスにドルフィンハンド、アップライトのロゴもロレックスの古き良き時代を感じさせる渋いディテールです。
ムーブメントは初の両方向巻上げ式のCal.1030を搭載。
初期のムーブメントでハック機能はありませんが、「テンサーティー」とも呼ばれ、オールドムーブメントでは高い人気を誇ります。
ロレックスはスポーツモデルが注目されがちですが、雰囲気の良いアンティークウォッチという意味では、本モデルのようなシンプルなモデルも格別の魅力を放ちます。
