5706 Antimagnetic Chronograph 3319 c. 1945 Before the Daytona, Rolex had the ref. 3319 Anti-Magnetic. In the decades prior to the birth of the Cosmograph Daytona, Rolex was quietly making high-quality chronographs that have now become incredibly collectible. This watch is one of the "pre-Oyster" watches, with a flat bezel and elegant lugs. It doesn't feature the screwed-down caseback, but rather a snap-on caseback that's common in earlier pieces. These watches were manufactured between 1935 and 1947 and used the Valjoux 22 movement. On the inside of the caseback, we can see the "115" hallmark signifying that the case was made by Favre & Perret.\n\nThe dial is black, with gilt printing to match the yellow gold case. This example features Breguet numerals, for an elegant yet classical look. This dial has been refinished. Rolex Rolex 3319 3319 Manual Wind 35 Scratches, marks or small dings which can be felt.
