1987 Rolex GMT-Master 2 ref. 16760 “Fat Lady, Serviced”

Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master II Reference 16760, the so-called “Fat Lady” or “Sophia Loren” R3 serial number circa 1987 production The watch has just been serviced by LA Watchworks and 1 year service warranty will be included with purchase. This full service included an overhaul of the movement, a new crystal, new gaskets, a pressure test, and new case tube/gasket. Excellent vintage condition without any pitting or dings/dents. LA Watchworks always restored the case by redefining the chamfers. The numbers are fully legible between the lugs. Dial is original with strong patina. No relume, no refinish. Hands are original. Original date disk with open 6’s and 9’s. Bezel insert is Coke with light signs of wear. Bracelet is a Rolex 78360 with full 13 links, 501 end-links. The date code is “S DE”, meaning this was a service replaced bracelet in 2001. No box or papers. The watch will come with LA Watchworks service receipt.
