Rolex Explorer II "Albino" 1655 Circa 1973

A highly collectible Rolex Explorer II reference 1655, dating to circa 1973 and featuring the desirable and charismatic “Albino” configuration. The case has just returned from polishing and presents in excellent overall condition, with strong proportions and light wear from careful use. The watch features an excellent original MK2 tritium dial with beautifully matching hands, preserving the attractive vintage character collectors look for on early Explorer II references. The MK3 steel bezel is also in excellent condition, with crisp engravings and very light wear overall. The watch is fitted with an excellent Oyster bracelet reference 78360 with 558 endlinks, showing extremely light stretch from use, and secured by a clasp stamped VE. There is no known service history, however the watch is in perfect working condition.
