This particular reference is the 116520, so the last of the steel-bezel references, bridging the gap between the Zenith-powered 16520 and the latest 116500 and 126500 ceramic-bezel references, and are a bit of a sweet spot for us as they have a build quality that stands up to the very latest pieces, while having a cool neo-vintage vibe about them. This example is a D-Serial, so would date to around 2006, and presents in Excellent neo-vintage condition. Case and bezel shows swirlies and small hairlines typical of these with their highly polished finish. There's a very small nick on the left side of the case. Rear of the lugs show some minor strap change marks. Dial is perfect. Minute hand shows a small scratch from servicing at some point. Please see images for full condition details. 78490 bracelet includes 11 links and will fit up to a 7.6in wrist, and shows minor desk dive marks and some remnants of some dings being poilshed on the clasp. Dated OP1, so first month of 2006. Was serviced in 2020 by RSC in the Phillipines. Currently keeping time at around +6 seconds a day at 280+ degrees of amplitude dial-up on a timegrapher, and all functions operating as they should. Comes with Rolex inner box and service receipt. No papers. A nice example of one of our favourite generations of Daytona.
