Description

Rolex Day-Date 36 1803

For Sale is an absolutely stunning Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 on a handmade high-end mustard Ostrich Leg strap. The iconic Day-Date surely needs no introduction but I love history. It was started in 1956 by Rolex, refined in 1958 as the 1803 Reference and this carried on for over two decades until 1977/8 with a few updates to the calibre before switching over to sapphire crystals and flatter dials and a double quickest movement. The serial, 5,12x,xxx dates this Day-Date to the transitional year of 1977/8 and features an impeccable all original and very clean 1556 calibre, this would have been built in the same year when the newer 5 digit Ref 180xx with the remarkable 3035 calibre was being released. With a recent full service the movement looks near brand new and included was a light buff. This watch has not been over polished and surely can't be over appreciated with the striking green "Stella" dial. Coming with an original box and AM insert this would make a great addition for any collection. This is not an understated piece. This is for the bold and unassuming. I can provide the period-correct WG presidential bracelet at an additional cost.Rolex Day-Date 36 1803 $ 14,526 Basic Info Listing code KQD9W1 Brand Rolex Model Day-Date 36 Reference number 1803 Movement Automatic Case material White gold Bracelet material Ostrich skin Year of production 1978 (Approximation) Condition Very good (Worn with little to no signs of wear) Scope of delivery Original box, no original papers Gender Men's watch/Unisex Location Canada, T6W1P3 Price C$19,500 (= $14,526) [Negotiable] Availability Item is in stock Caliber Movement Automatic Caliber/movement 1556 Base caliber 1570 Power reserve 48 h Number of jewels 26 Frequency 19800 A/h Case Case material White gold Case diameter 36 mm Try it on Thickness 12 mm Water resistance 10 ATM Bezel material Yellow gold Crystal Plexiglass Dial Green Dial numerals No numerals Bracelet/strap Bracelet material Ostrich skin Bracelet color Brown Clasp Buckle Clasp material White Gold Functions Date, Weekday For Sale is an absolutely stunning Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 on a handmade high-end mustard Ostrich Leg strap.
