The 1803 is a 4.2 million serial, circa 1976 production, and is not accompanied by box or papers. The Rolex features a brushed yellow gold case, which is accented by a fixed fluted gold bezel. The Day Date is mounted on its original early hidden clasp President bracelet, which contains three removable links (5 screws) and sits loose on a 7.35 inch wrist. The 1803 features a rare factory rhodium sunburst sigma diamond dial that has acquired a slight indigo hue with age. The dial features factory set white gold surround diamond hour markers, polished gold tritium coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. Condition: The case has been preserved well and remains thick with even lugs, while the bezel flutes remain crisp and strong. The early hidden clasp bracelet contains stretch that is consistent with its age, with the coronet on the clasp remaining thick and crisp. The factory sigma diamond dial has been preserved well and is free of any nicks or scratches, with some minor deterioration on some of the lume plots. Overall the Rolex is in very good vintage condition and is an honest example of a late 1803 Day-Date with the only imperfection being some scuffs on the surface of the acrylic crystal. Very hard to find all factory with this unusual dial color. This item's authenticity will be verified by experts before delivery
