Lot 1043 Rolex Gold 'Oyster Perpetual DateJust' Wristwatch 18 kt., automatic, circular silver-tone dial, sweep seconds, cyclops date aperture, dia. ap. 24 mm., textured bezel and 'Oyster' bracelet, with deployant clasp, signed Rolex , c. 1960, reverse of case with personal engraving , ap. 31.4 dwts. gross. Length 6 1/2 inches. With 2 extra links. Joan Ludwig was known the world over for her dog photography. Her photos graced countless magazines and were featured in a special display of each AKC recognized dog breed within the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. Her famous photo of a Komondor jumping a track hurtle became the album cover for Beck's "Odelady". She received countless awards over the years including The Langdon Skarda in 1997.
