Joan Ludwig was known the world over for her dog photography. Her photos graced countless magazines and were featured in a special display of each AKC recognized dog breed within the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. Her famous photo of a Komondor jumping a track hurtle became the album cover for Beck's "Odelady". She received countless awards over the years including The Langdon Skarda in 1997. Her photography spanned over 60 years.
