Rolex Chronograph Ref: 3525
Known as the Barilotto or 'Little Barrel' due to its compact chunky appearance, the 3525 is also known as the POW watch due to Rolex having afforded some prisoners of war to take delivery of said Watches while incarcerated, to be paid for upon their release. This particular rare black dial example, this very watch, was sold by Phillips six years ago for £140,000. Due to a combination of economy not quite being what it was and horological fashions changing, it is now available for substantially less yet should take pride of place in most Rolex collections.
