Footnotes Rolex produced two different models of moonphase wristwatches, the reference 8171 and 6062. The reference 8171 has a snap on back, while the reference 6062 is waterproof, and has a screw down crown and back.
The reference 8171 was made in a very small series between 1949 and 1952 mainly in yellow gold and some example in stainless steel.
