Provenance: descendants of the original owner Note : Reference 6264 Reference 6264 was produced by Rolex from 1970 to 1972, and can be considered a transitional model for various technical reasons. Like the 6262, it features the Valjoux 727 caliber, and above all belongs to the last generation of Daytonas with non-screwed pushers. Depending on the source, production of the 6264 is estimated at around 1,700 watches in all variants. And that's what makes this reference so interesting: a constellation of dials, all different. Our example features a rare variant on the so-called "Blue Daytona" dial, recognizable by its silver lettering and large Daytona signature worthy of the "Big Red" dials, but this time in an iridescent blue hue.
