The mythical Cosmograph collection began with the reference 6239 in 1963. It was not until 1964 that the model was added the name Daytona, marking Rolex's attachment to motor sports and thus celebrating the sponso ring of the brand which started 2 years earlier for the benefit of the circuit of the same name. The reference 6262/6239 presented here is considered as a transitional model between the references 6239 and 6263 and was produced exclusively between 1970 and 1971. This is the last model with the metal bezel whose pushers are not secured by the screwed system. It is equipped with the 727 caliber replacing the original 722.106, Estimate CHF 15,000-25,000.-

Silvered dial: Good to very good condition, traces of oxidation on the right edge. Presence of dust.
Silvered and luminescent baton applied hands and indexes: Very good condition, traces on the hands.
Plexi glass: Average condition, presence of many scratches.
Case and bracelet: Fair condition, presence of numerous scratches from pronounced use. The watch has already been repolished. Lack of black paint on the scale of the bezel.
