Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King Date Precision stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, reference no. 5790, serial no. 2231xxx, circa 1969, silvered dial with baton markers, outer minute track, date aperture and sweep centre seconds, cal. 1520 26 jewel movement, the inside case back dated 'IV.69', later leather strap, 35mm (crown at fault - see condition report) with Rolex box (interior worn). Box and Papers - with Rolex box (interior badly perished); no papers. Movement - the movement appears currently function; the crown screws down but not adjusting the hands or date so will require attention. Dial - good as expected for the period - see images. Glass - light marks present. Hands - light marks present. Case - overall generally clean for a 1969 timepiece, some typical light marks as viewed in the images. Crown - not currently adjusting the time or date so will require attention. Strap - later non-Rolex strap with some wear.
