Case: 40mm stainless steel screw back case is in excellent condition with strong bevels that hint at an unpolished case. Dial: Stunning 4 liner deep pumpkin color patina with matching hands is in near mint (90%) condition with no blemish whatsoever! This is a Maxi MK1 which is extremely collectable due to the fact that the word Submariner is still under the depth rating which was moved above from the MK2 onwards. Bezel: 100% original & period correct MK3 aluminum insert that lightly faded Movement: Rolex caliber 1570 chronometer movement is in excellent running condition Bracelet: 100% original and period correct Rolex expansion rivet C&I bracelet with 1978 clasp code. Bracelet is still in excellent and tight condition with hardly any stretch. Accessories: Full set with original inner & outer boxes still with the correct 5512 box sticker.
