Rolex Day-Date ref. 18038 (1984)

The Rolex 18038 is the perfect ‘neo‑vintage’ Rolex. It is crafted in 18k yellow gold. The watch has the classic 36 mm diameter. It was also the very first Day‑Date equipped with scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal. The black dial features yellow‑gold baton hour markers. The biggest technical upgrade of the 18038 compared to its predecessor (the 1803) was the new Rolex calibre 3055 movement. This movement introduced the Quickset function for the date (single quickset). Delivered on a leather strap from our own collection. This watch dates from 1984.
