Unlike the Ref. 1803, which used an acrylic crystal, the 18038 comes with a sapphire crystal. Stone dials take a prominent position within the highly esoteric sub-set of Day-Date collectors and within this niche Onyx dials tend to be the most sought-after examples. The inky black stone dial forms a handsome contrast with the yellow gold case. This particular piece showcases a striking Onyx dial and is in excellent condition.
