Rolex Lady-Datejust 179158

Description

Datejust 26 Diamonds 2006 Box and Papers

A very good example of a glamorous Datejust 26, in yellow gold with diamonds on the bezel, dial and lugs. This Rolex comes with the box, hangtag, booklets, service card (2017) and dated warranty certificate. The Datejust is Rolex's jack-of-all-trades watch. It wasn't designed to be taken to the bottom of the sea or to the highest mountains, but as a faithful companion for everyday use. It was one of the first watches to display the date using a window instead of a pointer or subdial, letting users read the time much more easily. While the Daytona and Submariner may get more appreciation both at authorised dealers and vintage auctions, the Rolex Datejust has indisputably formed the backbone of the brand's collection since its introduction in 1945.
