The case is well preserved, and has most likely remained unpolished over the years, with thick lugs and beveled edges on the lugs still clearly intact. This is very much a coveted attribute, especially for a gold case since a polish on the case will minimize this portion. There is a minor area of oxidation by the crown guard, which is a common occurrence for a gold case that has not been used or polished for a long time. The dial is attractive with appropriate patina, with some areas showing a slightly more speckled effect, but we think this adds character to the overall appearance. The lume on the indexes and hands has a gorgeous creamy color that enhances the vintage feel. The calendar disc also shows some patina and has open sixes and nines, which is a desirable feature for collectors. The full length Jubilee bracelet (with code stamp very close to the production year of the watch) shows some stretch between the links, but is overall in very good condition with crisp hallmarks and light scratches from wear.
