Description A Stainless Steel 'Oyster Perpetual Datejust' Wristwatch, Ref. 16200, Rolex, circa 2004 Automatic movement, customized sunburst green dial with hand painted 'evil eye' motif and signed JA at 6 o'clock, baguette-cut diamond markers, sweep seconds, magnified date aperture, completed by a Rolex Oyster bracelet, in stainless steel, inner circumference 6 3/4 inches The dial and its decoration are attributed to Los Angeles jeweller-designer Jackie Aiche, who is known for reworking pre-owned Rolex watches with hand-painted 'Evil Eye' dials and, in some examples, diamond hour markers. • Weight 101.1 grams Condition In good condition, with surface scratches on the case back and bracelet, very minor abrasions to the crystal under magnification. The movement observed to wind, set and run. The customized dial, hands and diamonds are aftermarket components (not Rolex). The caseback is engraved with initials JA. The case measuring 36 mm.
