Rolex ref. 1500 Oyster Date item #3241 This mid-1960’s Rolex Oyster Date is in all original and features a wonderful, all original Smokey Grey dial (our pictures do not do it justice). Take a good look at the photos for yourself. This original finish dial in this condition is very rare, and is accented nicely by Bar hour markers with the tritium dots which have aged very nicely. Matched perfectly with steel hands with aged luminous that completes the look. ALL ORIGINAL! There is some very slight aging and one mark, but the dial is still outstanding considering for its age. The 34mm stainless steel Oyster case features an engine-turned steel bezel and an original signed Rolex crown – all in very nice condition. The 1570/1575 Rolex in-house movement features auto winding and non-quickset date at 3:00. The watch has been fully serviced including all new gaskets, a new mainspring and a new crystal. A full (correct) service like this would cost $800 in our shop. The last picture shows the watch passed both a pressure and vacuum test ensuring the case is currently sealed. The case and bracelet have both been lightly refinished to match the watch’s original factory appearance. Lastly, it comes on a genuine Rolex Oyster solid link bracelet, ref. #78350 with 557 endpieces. The bracelet shows a bit of use, but is in great condition overall and feels nice and solid.
