D49112, Case no. 1500/207 (II.62), men´s wristwatch, 34,5 mm, steel, self winding, plastic crystal, date, needs overhaul, Oyster bracelet (Flushfit), folding clasp, Ref no. 7205-3.69/60, made second quarter 1962. Sweden won Fairplay Cup. (Least penalty minutes in the WC 1963). Detailed information The watch needs overhaul. Please ask us for more information and advice before placing a bid. In March 1963, the 30th edition of the Ice Hockey World Cup Championships was held in Stockholm, Sweden. The Soviet Union became the winners. Sweden though, became the winners of a competition within the competition - the Fairplay Cup. Meaning it was the team with the least penalty minutes during the tournament. This watch bears the engraving “Rolex Fairplay Cup – World Ice Hockey Championship – Stockholm 1963” and comes with a small silver cup. Condition
