Unlike the 6541, the 1019 was only available in silver or black, with a smooth bezel. It was designed for use by scientists working near powerful magnetic devices that would affect a watch's accuracy by magnetising its hairspring, using a Faraday cage. Today, it's recognisable for being the only Rolex with such an unusual colour scheme - the red-tipped seconds hand matching the red on the "Milgauss" text at 12 o'clock. This example from circa 1969 is in very good condition for its age, with well-defined bevels. It comes with a modern Rolex travel pouch.
