Robert Roskell, Liverpool - early 19th century 18ct patent rack lever pair cased pocket watch, Chester 1810, the fusee movement with 30 tooth escapement, signed R't. Roskell, Liverpool, no. 4937, with engraved bell shaped balance cock inscribed 'Patent', diamond endstone, flat steel three arm balance, Bosley type regulator and cylindrical pillars, dust cover, enamel dial with Roman numerals and minute track, within plain cases, 141.5gm, 55mm (movement at fault, lacking glass) , Movement - not functioning and requires repair, stiff to wind. Dial - light surface marks. Glass - lacking glass. Hands - not matching, hour hand tarnished. Case - light surface marks, bruise mark to the outer case back, outer case hallmarked Chester 1810, inner case hallmarks partially rubbed.
