It features a semi-skeletonised dial layout, with a sapphire date disc and floating numerals giving it a beautifully multi-layered appearance. The RM0005 was the brand's very first automatic watch, and used a titanium baseplate - a material seldom seen in movement-making due to how difficult it is to work with.\n\nThe movement also introduced the "variable-geometry" rotor, which gave the owner the option to make the movement more or less "sensitive" to winding. A more active owner would avoid excess stress from constant winding by slowing down the winding process, whereas a less active owner would speed up the winding process to make sure their watch would always be wound.\n\nThis watch was serviced by Richard Mille in July 2024.
