Porsche Design 7176s w/Early Orfina Kilometer Bezel - Box & Tag

This early Orfina Porsche Design chronograph marks the start of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche’s design language in the mid-1970s. The ref. 7176s is among the first results of the Orfina partnership, distinguished by its matte black PVD case, integrated automotive-inspired form, and Lemania 5100 movement. Built as a true tool watch and often worn hard, well-preserved examples with intact PVD and clean dials are increasingly scarce. Correct for these early models, the kilometer inner bezel reflects its European market intent, while the pared-back layout, tritium lume, and early PVD finishing give it a strong vintage instrument character. Recently serviced by Superior Watch, an authorized Porsche Design service center, with the PVD finish restored, this example combines early details with a recent brand service, an uncommon combination for a reference that rarely survived lightly worn. For any collector of PD watches, this example has remained in excellent vintage condition with a beautifully preserved dial. It comes accompanied by its correct PD box and hang tag. Dial: Mint with no blemishes under magnification. All the lume plots are present and full. Hands: Are matching. Case: Excellent with minimal signs of use. The PVD was refinished during service at the Porsche Design service center. Has just had a Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Correct PD signed and will fit an approximate 7 inch wrist. Also refinished at the same time as the case the PD service center. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: Box and hang tag. The movement was recently serviced by Superior Watch, an authorized Porsche Design service center and comes with our 6-month mechanical warranty.
