Representing himself and his wife and muse, Gala, the coins were made over a ten year period in conjunction with Huguenin Frères and had four denominations ranging from half a Dalí d'Or to five Dalí d'Or. The present model is the result of a collaboration between Yves Piaget and Salvador Dalí. The Dali d'Or coin depicting the faces of Salvador and Gala Dalí adorns the bracelet as a hinged cover that conceals a watch. Beautifully preserved, the present watch is a wonderful opportunity to add this intersection of Surrealism and high horology to any discerning collection.
