The Emperador (Spanish for Emperor) collection has seen various versions over the past 2 decades, one of them being the Coussin XL ultra-thin minute repeater – a record-breaking masterpiece launched in 2013, carrying the Piaget in-house calibre 1290P, the world’s thinnest minute repeater movement at the time, measuring a mere 4.8mm in thickness.
