Inner case back marked "Piaget" and hallmarked with a Swiss Lynx for 18K imported gold and then "18K .750". Left side of case has a small Helvetia hallmark (for 18k gold) and right side has a a stylized "P" stamp for Piaget. Bezel has hobnail pattern decoration. Monogram: Dedication on Case back "To Sol, G-d Bless You, Sammy". Provenance: Sol [Shapiro] was a show biz agent at the William Morris Agency during the 1960s and 1970s and was in fact the personal agent for Sammy Davis Jr., Jerry Lewis, Danny Thomas, Elvis Presley and others. This Cartier Piaget watch was gifted to Sol by Sammy Davis Jr. in appreciation of his services to Sammy in the early 70s. Movement: Hi grade 18 jewel Piaget signed 9P manual wind movement.
