Description
Launched in 1957, the 9P caliber was groundbreaking for 2 reasons: standing at 2mm, it was the thinnest manual-wound movement ever made for wristwatches, and its 20.5mm diameter was much larger than the standard, therefore allowing for larger cases. Its slimness was not only a technical accomplishment, it also allowed the manufacture to fit dials made of hard stones while retaining a thin profile like this flawless 18k Piaget with a beautiful Lapislazuli stone dial and fine cloud de Paris finish on the 18k white gold case. - wrist size in our picture is 18cm circumference - DIAL: original never touched Lapislazuli stone dial in great condition original hands & crown STRAP & BUCKLE: matte black GOLDAMMER Kardinal leather strap fitting up to 20 cm wrist size / 2 mm thick GOLDAMMER steel buckle CASE: great overall condition, showing minor traces of use 3- body 18k white gold case with screw-down case back 23 mm (without crown) / 28 mm (lug-to-lug) / 18 mm (between lugs) / 5.2 mm thick year: 1970s reference: 9151 total weight: 29 g MOVEMENT: Piaget Cal. 9P1 - manual wind 17 jewels, 18000 A/h, 52 hours power reserve professionally serviced 03/2025 -7 sec/d / 270° BOX & PAPERS: GOLDAMMER certificate of authenticity & service documentation card GOLDAMMER box GOLDAMMER REFERENCE: #817
