In 2017, to commemorate the "The Art of Watches" Grand Exhibition held in New York, Patek Philippe unveiled a special limited edition of its world time wristwatch, the Reference 7130. This edition was offered in both 18K rose gold (ref. 7130R-012) and 18K white gold (ref. 7130G-015). The 36mm case features a signature diamond-set bezel, complemented by a matching diamond-set buckle. The most distinctive feature of the "New York Edition" is its captivating dial. The center is adorned with a blue guilloche background featuring a meticulously rendered depiction of the Manhattan skyline, an artistic tribute to the host city. This central scene is encircled by a classic world-time mechanism with a silver or white ring for city names and a bi-color 24-hour ring with day/night indication.
