The magnificently decorated case-back is ornamented with translucent blue enamel over a finely engraved monogram, surrounded by guilloché surfaces. The monogram - probably "ALM" - shimmers in various shades of blue, creating a marvellous three-dimensional effect. The white enamel dial has beautifully curved Breguet numerals, red minute markers, a small seconds subdial with red numerals, and blued spade hands. The minute repeater is activated with a slide on the side of the case. Its high-quality movement is distinguished by two superbly polished hammers and gongs, which produce a beautiful and resonant sound.
