Patek Philippe Ref. 5236P-001 In-Line Perpetual Calendar

An innovative and like-new platinum wristwatch with linear perpetual calendar, moon phase, leap year, day/night indication, setting pin, certificate of origin, and presentation box. Introduced in 2021, Patek Philippe launched its first in-line perpetual calendar wristwatch, taking its design cues from the “linear” perpetual calendar pocket watches of the 1950s and 1960s. The current reference 5236P is characterized by a calendar display within a single, horizontal window under 12 o’clock, which instantly sets such watches apart from conventional calendar displays that rely on multiple sub-dials. The case of the watch is well-inspired by the iconic vintage perpetual calendar references 3448 and 3450 but is accentuated by modern design features such as its angular lugs and tall, sloped bezel. Its larger size also accommodates the new at time of release caliber 31-260 PS QL, which held three patents related to the innovative engineering, function, and arrangement of the linear perpetual calendar disks. Combined with the innovation and callback to its own know-how, this piece combines brains, beauty, and history in a uniquely Patek Philippe fashion. The watch is offered in like-new, virtually unworn condition, complete with its original accessories.
