Comment: The 3712 was replaced in 2006 by the reference 5712 which was introduced to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the iconic model. The two models are distinguished by a subtle difference on the dial, namely the very small index applied to 7 o'clock which is found on the 3712 but not on the 5712. Our example which has been slightly worn is today considered by collectors as a trophy.
