Its timeless design was refined with an eye-catching asymmetrical dial, featuring a fan-shaped power reserve indicator, a stunning moon phase display, and an off-center subsidiary seconds subdial—all elements that enhance its distinctive geometry. Until the release of the Reference 5740 in 2018, a perpetual calendar model with moon phases, the 5712 stood as the most complicated Nautilus wristwatch. Housed in a 40mm stainless steel case, the Reference 5712/1A-001 features a striking blue-black dial. It elegantly showcases a power reserve indicator at 10 o’clock, a date display with moon phases between 6 and 9 o’clock, and a running seconds subdial at 4 o’clock. With its refined aesthetic and substantial wrist presence, it ranks among the most coveted modern sports watches on the market today. The present Reference 5712, distinguished by the prestigious double stamping of Tiffany & Co., is further accompanied by its Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin—confirming the retailer—and a full suite of accessories, including the iconic Tiffany blue packaging. The model was discontinued by the brand earlier this year, making this Tiffany & Co. signed example highly collectible.
