Designed by Gerald Genta in 1976, supposedly just yards from Patek Philippe executives, the Nautilus took inspiration from a ship's porthole constructed via a solid one-piece case with an octagonal bezel. Patek Philippe's original Nautilus 3700 "Jumbo" was discontinued in the mid-1980s and replaced by the smaller and more versatile Reference 3800 which is the model we feature here.
