Patek Philippe 5105P-001 Geneva Boutique Limited Edition Platinum
Launched in 2006 to commemorate the opening of their then-new Geneva boutique, the ref. 5105PA debuted as a collection of only 100 pieces, which make it a spectacularly rare and desirable timepiece on its own. Boasting a unique design that combines facets of different Patek models like the ref. 5100 and the ref. 5500, the ref. 5105P that we have here features a 46mm long curved case that is 25mm wide with a distinctively architectural design language that embodies the very reason the watch was created. With it stepped lugs, or branchards as they are known, the ref. 5105P is suitably luxurious, with its understated silver dial creating a monochromatic that only its blackened gold hands and black inscriptions break from. A wonderfully rare watch commemorating a special event from Patek’s modern history, it is no surprise that the ref. 5105P is as sought-after as it is. Powered by a manual-wind movement that is on display behind an exhibition caseback, the ref. 5105P truly does have it all to get a Patek collector excited.
